Identify your influencers
Influencers are important because they have large audiences who listen to what they have to say. These can include journalists, bloggers, celebrities, and podcasters. By building relationships with a few key influencers, you can begin to cultivate an audience that is “warm” to your marketing campaigns. They will be more likely to click on an email and read it. Before you can convert, you need to engage.
Not all influencers are alike, which is why it’s important to pay attention to their fit score. For example, if you discover there are bloggers with high scores it’s likely they are already familiar with your industry, and would be more receptive to undertaking a product review, interview, or even an exclusive piece associated with a launch.
As you go through your list of influencers, know that you can auto-tag marketing campaigns just for they. They are not a typical end-user, so make sure you personalize you outreach to them.
